SNKK87 - Grand Seiko 5 Build
The case is a Seiko 5 SNKK87 with the crown at 3 O'clock, I like the lines of the case, it also has 20mm lug width which gives it a more substantial look. The dial is from a Seiko SARV003, deep black with an enamel finish, lumed indices, and an applied Seiko logo. The handset is from Lucius Atelier, they are Dauphine hands, with a mix of brushed centers and polished edges. Those hands really play well with the light and I think are rather elegant. I have a flat sapphire with clear AR installed, and the watch is running a 4r36 movement with black Day/Date wheels. The leather strap is a high quality italian leather a with beautiful texture.
