Damascus Steel Dual-Tone Automatic Watch - 1 of 1

Tamahagane which translates to "Jewel Steel" is the the steel used for making Japanese Katana blades. The process of folding the steel into layers gives the katana its characteristic traits of strength and flexibility. The Damascus pattern seen on the dial was inspired from an actual sword, this was the actual layering of steel on a katana sword. The Kanji at 3 o'clock translates to "Fire" and the Kanji at 9 o'clock translates to "Strength". The "1" in the 12 o'clock index is a Katana sword handle with the infamous diamond pattern seen with the wrapping, The 6 o'clock index is a traditional Japanese kunai dagger, that matches the lumed tip of the seconds hand. The other hour indices are applied, and filled with BGW9 Grade A lume. The watch also has a lumed Kanji chapter ring, as well as a fully lumed Sapphire bezel insert.
